GMC sierra 2500 HD 2026 model Data collecting, and stopping it

I purchased a 2026 model GMC sierra 2500 HD deisel AT4. love it compared to the last 3 denali’s i have owned in past. Drives way better. OK, the data collecting and how i stopped it. if anyone is interested, and the moderator is ok with it. i figured the system out , how it works, and how to stop the data collecting and slow down the black box to a crawl.

ok here the whole key to the current puzzle. But not quite as simple as that. The shark fin antenna. this antenna after analyzing the different signals coming in and out, lit up like 4th of july when my direction finding antenna with blue tooth, LEBT, gps and wifi detection in one.
highest point on truck for a reason. its a gateway. 2 wires coming out. a pillar, carefull to not set off air bag. one of the 2 antenna leads has one splitter, disconnect them all only after you disconnect the batteries first ! apply on the on star side 2 50 ohm dummies loads with fakra leads on both to not fry the on star. why ? first year model where the on star is integrated. the dummy loads fool the on star computer into a signal feed back. you loose xm radio, but who cares. If you unplugg the onstar completely, you loss operating gauges, dash lights, etc. unplug Just the 2 antenna leads. scanned the on star unit again under dash, no signal output. all is good. now other side of truck under glove box, telematics. Now this one, same thing, 2 antenna lead, 2 50 ohm dummy loads on fakra connectors. Naturally they put these leads all the way in the back, hardest to reach. The first yr where the telematics is integrated. if you take it out, u losses infotainment, camera backup, winshield time delay for misting, snowing , etc, it goes completely dark. scanned the telematics after, all is good. now the real test, monthly on star report, next one never came. 3 month later, still never came. of courser the still billed my CC, then i finally cancelled service , or rather paying for service . wasnt recieving it any, but that was and is the plan. Now, i have an open source phone, blue tooth tethering off, and no low energy BT. flocks also pick up on this and your MAID adddress. when i called on star to cancel, just said i dont need it anymore. The said GM would use it for technical purposes for another 8 yrs exactly. WEll, they can try. anything else i might be missing ? or should do or consider., All thought appreciated.

Your post brought me here. 2026 1500 Sierra. I have a hard time with the connection stuff happening and don’t want to participate if I can avoid it. I tried shutting off the data in the settings and then tried to play my music from my phone and it made me connect to play. I just went through sound deadening the truck and found these Fakra connectors in the pillar.

I have no knowledge of the proper 50 ohm dummy load setup to use. I was unable to message I assume since I just joined. I am totally up to experimenting if you dont mind sharing a few more details for me.

Thanks

just unplug the antenna wires. should be 3 connections in th a pillar. that should set you free. the dummy loads are an added shield but not nessicary.
