Nice to see Discourse was chosen as the platform. I truly like “old school” forum formats much better than firehose social media steams. Much easier to follow topics I’m interested in.

I was able to add it to my copy of Discourse Hub running on my iPhone. Just click the “+” icon, enter the URL, and login. Will be adding it to my iPad next once it finishes charging.

I have not played with alerts in the Hub app. I keep alerts to a bare minimum in order to preserve sanity.

I definitely liked on Discord how I could limit notifications to when I’m tagged, otherwise my phone would be dead very fast and I’d never get anything done

I discovered the aLM community a couple years ago via YouTube. I almost never have time for the live streams with our schedule. The past 8-9 months have been very little time for videos or 3d printing. We moved from TX to TN for work, took way too long to sell our house constantly trying to stay ahead of the crashing prices while all the homes in the neighborhood sat still, and now are trying to find where to live in our new town. Once we’re settled I know I’ll have several projects to print, including nerf organization for the boys who are really getting into it.
