Maybe update the Ranch category to Ranch & Farm or something a bit more encompasing.
To me it is just symantics, but I have run into a lot of people who think ranch means cows and horses or a vacation destination. Most people seem to understand farm & ranch means all of it.

The LM Ranch is not a farm tho.
My mistake then. I read ranch and think general ranch stuff. So then maybe LM Ranch to clear up any confusion?

To be fair, ranch could be a condiment too. Pretty sure LM isn’t raising salads.

Who knows what’s next for LM? Maybe he will go up against big salad.
But seriously, I saw ranch and thought general ranch stuff. Not LM Ranch. Its not LM 3D printing, or LM right to repair.
A forum to show and discuss the cool ways people use 3D printing to solve problems on the ranch and on the farm is something I would like to see.
He does have a garden and grows vegetables, so is that not a “farm”? Small but … Ok, it’s a stretch but this is LM.

THIS is exactly what I thought too, so thank you for being the one to ask for others, me included. hehehe! I DO want to know about some farm info, too, but did not want to spam a bunch of topics. (Take it slow…)
The about post for each category would probably be a better route. Keeping category names short and encompasing is difficult to impossible. But the about post would allow for a more verbose and fluid way to manage things.
Last I checked all the category about posts are just the default “change this”. Hopefully someone will go in and at least put in what they were thinking when creating the categories. (And yes I volounteer to help if desired). This forum has great potential in many directions and I really want to see it succede.

Somebody (
@lm) decided to test in production, and threw the doors open before I got to look through even the base docs. Feel free to offer suggestions for the other things in…
hmm..
I feel your pain. (I had a manger who was always in hurry. They once took a prototype from my bench and shipped it to a customer, debug code, bodges and all.
)
On one hand it is a fast way to shake out issues and gets users going. On the other it can leave a very bad impression on users. The devs get stuck playing catch up, and the technical debt becomes overwhelming.
It is a tough balance.
I will keep providing feedback, and try to not be too annoying.
