Could we get some discussion on when to start making models for the 2025 Christmas Print Drive. LM said last year that he would be offloading some of the responsibilities to other people. The sooner we get something to print the more people can schedule their printers (even if we have to wait to send the prints). One thing I noticed was that several of the initial designs had problems that both the Designer and the one who approved it missed. Adding a step where a design gets an initial approval but is posted before final approval so we can test print them and find fixable problems.

I like the idea of testing the print by a large group of folks. the more that test the more odd balls things you find.

I can get feedback from early head start teachers and students (kids 3-5 years old). I am currently working with a few classes to make replacement parts, educational toys, and things for their lesson plans. They have provided me with a lot of really good feedback, and opportunities to test models in a harsh real world setting.
And they understand the iterative engineering processes. so they are used to me going through 4-5 prototypes and lots of communication back and forth before settling in on something that works. (I was an engineer in a former life, and the times customers did not get that 
)

I know this is early (and the prizes might need some thought) but bringing back a modified #Monday-makes to help with test prints might work. As models are ready to test, give everyone a week then get them to show off the results.
